Vegetable soup and cheese balls – a new recipe

I can’t help but eat soups. I’m ready to eat them both in the morning and in the evening. My mother used to tell me that you should definitely eat hot food every day.

This will be good for your body.

However, my children and husband refuse soups. To interest them, I came up with a new vegetable soup that left no one indifferent

Ingredients for the soup:
2.5 l chicken broth or water
1 large onion
1 carrot
5 medium potatoes
4 tbsp vegetable oil
greens, salt, pepper to taste
Ingredients for the balls:
100 g Dutch cheese
1 egg
100-130 g flour
2 tbsp soft butter
salt to taste
Cooking process:
Initially, you should prepare the cheese balls. Grate the cheese on a fine grater, add butter, a little flour and spices to the mixture. You should get a soft dough. Cool it in the refrigerator for about half an hour.
While the dough is cooling, make the soup. You need to cut the potatoes (cubes) and throw them into the broth. Add spices, grate the carrots and onions and lightly fry. Also add to the broth.
After that, take out the dough, form small balls. Remember, their size should not exceed the size of a walnut!
Add them to the broth and cook the soup for about 10 – 15 minutes. Watch the readiness of the balls.
After the balls are cooked, add finely chopped greens and turn off the heat.
