If you love animals and want to hear an interesting story, read the text below…
A wild cat with a puma face knocked on the door and asked to come in.
The forest cat, named Lawrence, wandered for many years on an abandoned farm. Although a kind-hearted person took care of him, the cat himself preferred to stay away and rely only on himself. However, one day he independently appeared at the doors of the Tabby’s Place cat shelter and decided that this was his new home.
For the first time in his life, Lawrence felt truly cared for, surrounded by people’s attention and countless toys. For the first time, he feels loved without any conditions, while one is appreciated for one’s existence. Every day, his heart grew warmer and after a few months, the cat found his family again.
Mark and Susan, who already had a cat named Rainey from the same shelter, heard Lawrence’s story and decided to give him a helping hand. It seemed that the cat greeted them as if he had been waiting for this meeting his whole life.
Today, Lawrence, Rainey and another cat named Yuki are one big family. At first, the “forest puma” acclimated to his new home and got used to everyday life, but he quickly became incredibly attached to his owners, generously showering them with love and gratitude.
With his powerful build and impressive paws, Lawrence looked like a miniature puma. In reality, he was just a stray cat who appeared tough on the outside, but who actually had a shy and affectionate nature. Over time, Lawrence began to trust people more, even letting them pet him and agreeing to have his nails cut: “Such a brave spirit!”

“I secretly adopted a girl who was abandoned in the maternity hospital. My Oksanka was registered as mine, the second in a set of twins”
When I was admitted to the maternity hospital in the evening with contractions, my husband and I were expecting the birth of our fourth child.
That is, at that time our family was already “hopelessly large”
My second and third boys are twins, although neither my husband nor I had twins in our family. Therefore, in fact, the main family question (with a bit of humor, of course) about my next pregnancy was: “What if it’s twins again?”
Our grandparents were very impressed, and we had to help everyone at first. Thanks to the ultrasound, it was possible to find out whether it was twins or not already at the second screening. But no, the fourth “ninja” was walking alone.
Finally, it’s all over…
I was put in a private single room, which my husband and I had paid for in advance.
And a couple of hours later they brought me my boy to feed.
A few minutes later the head doctor came into my room and said, looking down.
– We have the following situation here…
– This morning an 18-year-old woman gave birth to a girl, wrote a refusal, called a taxi and left the maternity hospital.
– She herself can barely walk after giving birth, but she did not want to stay in the maternity hospital for a minute longer. She was hysterical, I had to let her go.
– And the girl is so pretty, healthy. And you, as I know, really wanted twins.
– I was thinking… Maybe you could take the baby?
– And we will write that you gave birth…
– I really don’t want to send the child to a baby house. What kind of life is there for a baby? Only tears…
— Of course, it’s illegal, you can go through the official adoption procedure, but it takes MONTHS, and there’s no guarantee that they’ll give you up.
— And the child will be in the shelter all this time. It’s a shame…
To be honest, I was dumbfounded…
I knew the head of the hospital, Lyubov Stepanovna, well. She was a nice woman, very kind. We talked outside the maternity hospital.
That’s probably why she approached me with such a “slippery” offer.
But the life and fate of the abandoned child is at stake… I made the decision almost instantly!
— Ah, — I say, come on, let’s do it. I have experience raising twins. We’re just missing a fifth child to make it an even number.
I said it as a joke, of course, but you know what I mean by that…
By the way, all my children are boys, and my husband dreamed of having a daughter… It was in the wild nineties, when children weren’t registered through guardianship.
My Oksana was simply registered as mine, the second in a twin family. And I explained to my family that sometimes, on an ultrasound, the second child isn’t visible behind the first.
That’s why my relatives didn’t ask many questions, they were just surprised, wow, twins twice.
Only my husband knew, and he accepted my decision with a bang. The funniest thing is that Oksana looks a lot like him, she has the same blue eyes and fair hair.
Now the children have grown up, and no one even suspects that Oksya is not our real child. And I forget about it myself… She is real!
